I started with a few swordtails. I fed them frozen mosquito larvae and maybe blood worms. The tank multiplied quickly. There were fake plants the babies could hide. I also had the heater on to keep the water warm.
I also added a small amount of Aquarium Salt not knowing the Health Benefits. The swordtails kept multiplying.
I did 1/4 water changes every 2 weeks in a 55 gallon tank.
My question is … Does Aquarium Salt make the fish more fertile and active?
What caused them to reproduce so fast?
